I'm Sure You're All Wondering Why I've Called You Here Today...

So, it's time for another update from the life and times of Bryson. Yes, yes, I know you're all so excited to hear about what I've been up to, but please hold your applause until the end of the post. Are you prepared to hear about the wild and crazy antics of your friendly neighborhood Bryson? You are? Are you sure? Well, if you're going to insist, then I guess I'll catch you all up.
I have been up to... very little. (Note: I was going to say 'nothing', but that's not entirely true. I've been doing things recently, just not lots of things.) In the few weeks since I posted, not a whole lot has happened to me. Yes, I know that it's up to me to make things happen to me, and I've been trying. I've decided to become more involved in my Singles Ward. I've been going to ward activities and FHE for the past few weeks. I'm hoping to get to know the people there more. It's been good times. I really have an awesome ward, so enjoying the activities really isn't that hard to do.

Speaking of single people, my little brother is coming home from his mission soon. (This Wednesday, to be precise.) My whole family is excited for that. Well, almost my whole family. Andrew, the missionary, is not looking forward to coming home at all. I think if it were up to him, he'd stay out in the field for another 2 years. Luckily, it's not up to him. I think my mom would go crazy if he were to be gone for 4 years. He's coming home the day before Thanksgiving, which is great. We'll be able to have Thanksgiving dinner with him.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, how did it get here so fast? It seems to me that the month of November has gone by far too fast. Heck, we're fast approaching December, which means Christmas. This whole year has gone by relatively fast, though. It's still a shock to me that I have to start Christmas shopping.
Speaking of Christmas, I've got a few blog posts typed up about the various reasons I hate Christmastime, as well as a couple of posts about why I love Christmastime. Christmas sparks a lot of different feelings in me, so I thought I'd share them with you, but not until after Thanksgiving.

Well, that's about all there is for this post. I'll hopefully have another one typed up by the end of this week, but I make no promises.

Hey - you once left flowery comments on my blog about how you liked my writing.

I posted another excerpt... just in case you were interested. My book is a romance, so I don't know that you would really want to still read it all the way through.

I just thought I'd tell you anyway.
